Coffee & Insulin
Archive/RSS/Ask
oh, and coffee and insulin are two things I cannot live without.
well i lost 13 pounds in 2 weeks right before i was diagnosed, so i def. gained that back, but i didn’t gain TOO much more after that. i know that insulin can be related to weight gain though. maybe talk to your doctor about the side effects of the insulin you’re taking? sorry i cant be of more help
I was wondering if you would mind taking a few minutes out of your day to watch a video I recently posted and that is very important to me. The video is of my youngest brother, Zachary, and me speaking about Type One Diabetes. Zac was diagnosed a year from today [February 25th, 2010] and we hope to spread the word to find a cure!
Please watch and reblog. You are helping more than you know.
Warmly,
Ashley ♥

Awesome, I’m Sarah, nice to meet you!
moments to smile about
1. when you think your blood sugar is going to be high, but it turns out to be perfect
2. when the injection doesn’t hurt one bit
3. when someone admiringly says, “I can’t imagine dealing with all that. You’re brave.”
4. when you see a JDRF fundraiser, and all the people helping out
5. when your low A1c reflects all of your hard work
6. when you meet someone else with type one and feel that instant bonding connection
7. when tumblr suddenly becomes a type one diabetes networking site, and suddenly you don’t feel so alone
